The Web’s Flower Girl

This is a work in progress thus far, but I will be working very hard to get some very useful website marketing information here for local florists; this is By Florists, For Florists Web Marketing.

At 30 years old, almost my entire life has been dedicated to flower retail, my family’s florist business (as luck would have it) has been around longer than I have. In addition my Digital Communications Degree from Concordia University also lead me down the 9 year path of perfecting Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Internet Marketing.  I have enjoyed lots of success with my own independent websites, and now it’s time to give some of that knowledge back to an industry that I love!

No matter what florist network you are affiliated with, even if none at all, you can benefit from the information I will share here. These days it’s all about the local florist; we are strong and we are back with a vengeance!

If you are an Order Gatherer…. please, move along.

If you think you’d like help with your Florist website, whether is be a site review/consultation, SEO or Keyword Research, Website Maintenance or help with Analytics or your shopping cart, feel free to contact me below.

UPDATE: Please note that I due to other commitments I am not currently available for consulting. Thanks for understanding.

As web savvy as I think I am, I’m having a hard time rationalizing the Twitter time commitment. Think I’ll give that over to my daughter to let her Twit-about…

Gia…judging by your Florist SEO links, you must already know my partner in crime, Ryan… join us over at FlowerChat.com if you haven’t already.

    Great job!

I REALLY LIKE THIS WEB SITE. I DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS LET ALONE “SEO”. I WOULD LIKE TO OPTIMIZE MY WEB SITE, BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO BEGIN. GIA SOUNDS LIKE SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. I’M SURE YOU (GIA) HAVE A VERY BUSY SCHEDUL, BUT I WOULD TRULY APPRITIACTE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART IF YOU WOULD SPEND SOME TIME WITH ME JUST TO GET ME STARTED. IF YOU CAN AND DO HELP ME, I WOULD MAKE IT WORTH YOUR WHILE. REGARDLESS WHETHER YOU HELP ME OR NOT, ON BEHALF OF MANY SMALL FLOWER SHOP OWNERS, I SALUTE YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THE FLORAL INDUSTRY. THANK YOU AND BEST REGARDS.
